Tréteaux et barrières
Trestles and barriers are the light access and crowd control end of the range: a trestle gives a low working platform where a full scaffold would be disproportionate, and barriers separate people from a hazard or a route. KEAA International manufactures four items in Ludhiana, India, covering trestles in standard and light duty models, crowd control barriers and road barriers. They are catalogued within the scaffolding range because they are made on the same lines, from the same steel, in the same plants, and are usually bought by the same contractors and hire fleets who are already ordering scaffold components.
What the range includes
Trestles in a standard model and a light duty model, for low level working platforms. Crowd control barriers for pedestrian management at events and works. Road barriers for traffic and site perimeter control.
Standards and finish
Manufactured from S235JR tube to EN 10219 and hot dip galvanized to DIN EN 1461. Fabrication and welding are in house, with welding carried out by welders certified to EN 1090-2 and EN 3834-2, accredited by SLV Germany. Management systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 by TÜV Rheinland.
Where it is used
Interior fit out and maintenance where a trestle platform is enough, and site perimeters, events and road works for the barriers. Buyers are contractors, tool and plant hire fleets, event suppliers and local authority suppliers.

Barriers and trestles are bought in volume and stored outdoors between uses, so consistency and finish matter more than they look as though they should. They are made on the same lines as our scaffold components, with the same welding certification.
