Access Scaffold-American Frame
American frame scaffolding is a frame system built around ladder and mason frames and a family of locking devices that hold the braces: C-locks, Canada locks, drop locks, fast locks, flip locks and snap on locks, each suited to a different brace and working habit. KEAA International manufactures 17 components in this pattern in Ludhiana, India, including the frames, the full range of locks, and the pin set of gravity, rivet, roll and pig tall pins that assemble them. It is the pattern used across North American practice and in markets that follow it, and the reason the range is dominated by locks and pins is that these are the parts a working fleet consumes and replaces.
What the range includes
Ladder frames and mason or step frames. Locking devices in C-lock, Canada lock, drop lock, fast lock, flip lock and snap on lock patterns. Pins covering gravity pins, rivet pins, roll pins and pig tall pins. Bridge poles for spanning between frames.
Standards and finish
Manufactured from S235JR tube to EN 10219 and hot dip galvanized to DIN EN 1461 in our own plants. Fabrication and welding are in house, with welding carried out by welders certified to EN 1090-2 and EN 3834-2, accredited by SLV Germany. Management systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 by TÜV Rheinland.
Where it is used
Facade access, masonry work and general construction in markets following American frame practice. Buyers are scaffolding contractors, rental fleets and distributors supplying that pattern.
Why buy it from the manufacturer
Locks and pins are the consumable half of a frame fleet, and their fit decides whether a brace holds. Buying them from the maker of the frames removes the tolerance drift that appears when locks are sourced separately. Manufacturing is in house from cutting through welding.
- ISO 9001:2015
- Manufacturing since 2003
- Exported to 42+ countries

Request a QuoteCommon questions
It depends on the brace and the frames already in your fleet. C-lock, Canada, drop, fast, flip and snap on patterns are all made. Send a photograph or sample of your existing lock with your enquiry and we will match it.
No. The dimensional patterns and locking hardware differ, so they are not interchangeable. A scaffold is built from one pattern.
Yes. Gravity, rivet, roll and pig tall pins are individually catalogued, because they are the parts a working fleet loses and replaces most often.
