Stable equipment is specified around one difference from cattle housing: horses are worked with individually and are far more likely to injure themselves on a fitting than to simply wear it out. Feeders, racks and panels have to present no edge a horse can catch, and they have to hold their shape under a weight that arrives suddenly rather than steadily. KEAA International manufactures six items for stables from Ludhiana, India, covering feeding troughs, hay feeders, hay racks, round hay feeders, fence panels and a guard for water bowls. The range is made in our own plants with fabrication and welding in house, by welders certified to EN 1090-2 and EN 3834-2, accredited by SLV Germany, and is hot dip galvanized to DIN EN 1461 like the rest of the livestock housing ranges.
What the range includes
Feeding troughs, hay feeders, hay racks and round hay feeders for forage; fence panels for dividing and enclosing; and a guard for water bowls. Fittings from the wider livestock housing range are commonly specified alongside these where a stable block adjoins other housing.
Standards and finish
Hot dip galvanized to DIN EN 1461, applied in our own plants. Welding is carried out by welders certified to EN 1090-2 and EN 3834-2, accredited by SLV Germany, and manufacturing quality management is certified to ISO 9001:2015 by TÜV Rheinland.
Where it is used
Stable blocks, livery yards and equestrian centres, and the fenced turnout areas attached to them. Buyers are equestrian building contractors, stable fit out installers and distributors supplying them.
